From three very spoilt Schnauzers… to a growing dogwear business 

Hi, I’m Kim, the owner and maker behind Serendipity Dogwear Co.

Serendipity Dogwear started in my home workshop with three very important customers — my Miniature Schnauzers, Parka, Paisley and Pandora.

I wanted to create collars and leads for my own dogs that were not only practical and hard wearing, but also colourful, stylish and a little bit different. I began experimenting with materials, colours, hardware and designs, creating pieces that suited their personalities and our adventures together.

Before long, friends started asking me to make collars and leads for their dogs too. Then, through my love of Mantrailing, I began making long lines and specialist equipment for my Mantrailing clients.

And that’s where things really started to grow…

What began as a little creative project for my own dogs slowly turned into Serendipity Dogwear Co. a small, independent dogwear business where every piece is still designed, made and packed with care by me in my home workshop in Wirral, UK.

Made for real dogs and real adventures

I’m passionate about creating dogwear that looks great but is also made to be used.

Our collars, leads, long lines and accessories are handcrafted using genuine Biothane and premium waterproof coated webbing, making them durable, wipe clean and perfect for everything from muddy walks and rainy days to Mantrailing adventures and everyday strolls.

But practical doesn’t have to mean boring!

I love colour, pattern, sparkle and adding those little details that make your dog’s gear feel completely theirs. From bold and colourful everyday collars to seasonal designs, personalised pieces and specialist Mantrailing and scentwork equipment, there’s something for every kind of dog — and every kind of dog lover.

Every Serendipity Dogwear piece is made to order rather than mass produced. I personally cut, assemble, finish and check each item before it makes its way to you.

That means your dog’s new collar or lead isn’t just another product coming off a production line. It’s something I have made especially for you and your dog.

I’m constantly experimenting with new colours, materials, designs and techniques in the workshop, so there’s always something new on the horizon.

What started with three Schnauzers has grown into a community of wonderful dogs and their humans, and I genuinely love seeing Serendipity Dogwear out and about on your adventures.
